Agreement: By booking bridal hair services with Hair by Olivia James, you (the client) agree to the following terms and conditions.

1.Reservation and Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £60 is required to secure your bridal hair reservation. The deposit amount and payment details will be provided upon booking. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of the service and guarantees the reservation for the specified date and time. If for any reason I Olivia can no longer fulfil the booking the deposit will be returned to yourself. In the rare event of this happening I endeavour to find a replacement stylist to cover the date and the deposit will be moved to the new stylist once approved.

2. Consultation: A consultation session will be scheduled prior to the wedding day to discuss your hair preferences, style, accessories, and any other specific requirements. It is essential to provide accurate information during this consultation to ensure the desired outcome.

3. Trial Run: A trial session is offered to trial your chosen style/s before the wedding day. The trial session has an additional fee of £80/£65, and its purpose is to finalize the preferred style, make adjustments, and ensure client satisfaction. Additional people can also have a trial if required also priced at £50pp. You are in control of bookings these so please get in touch when you know when/if you would like a trial. I usually say around 6 weeks prior to the wedding date.

4. Minimum Spend Floor: A minimum spend floor may be applicable for bridal hair services. This means that the total cost of services (excluding trial session and any additional charges) must meet or exceed a specified minimum amount. The minimum spend floor will be communicated during booking if relevant.

5. Additional People: The final quote and pricing for bridal hair services will include styling for the bride and bridal party as agreed and cannot be changed even if the amount of people has been decreased. If you require hairstyling for additional people such as bridesmaids, family members, or friends, an extra charge of £50-70 per person will apply. Any additional people must be communicated before the date and the charge will be reflected on the final invoice.

6. Changes or Cancellations: Any changes to the bridal hair reservation, including date, time, or style, must be communicated in writing (email, text, etc.) Unfortunately if the date has changed and I can no longer accommodate the new date the original deposit will be lost. If the date can be accommodated the deposit can be transferred to a new date however new costs may be assigned to this date.

7. Pricing and Payment: The pricing for bridal hair services will be communicated during booking and is subject to change based on the complexity of the hairstyle, travel requirements, additional accessories, or any other factors. Full payment is due on or before the wedding day via bank transfer or cash.

8. Travel and Accommodation: If the bridal hair services require travel to a specific location, the client will be responsible for providing transportation to and from the venue. Additionally, if overnight accommodation is necessary due to distance or early morning start time, the client shall bear the cost of accommodation and this will be discussed at the time of booking.

9. Preparation and Time Management: The client is responsible for ensuring clean, dry, and ready-to-style hair on the wedding day. It is advised to wash the hair the night before the appointment and refrain from using excessive hair products. Promptness is essential to maintain the schedule; any delays caused by the client may result in a shorter styling time.

10. Liability: The hairstylist/company will take reasonable care in providing bridal hair services. However, they are not liable for any allergic reactions, injuries, or damages that may occur during or after the service. It is the client's responsibility to inform the hairstylist/company about any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions that may affect the service. Full public liability insurance in place and all equipment pat tested.

11. Photography and Marketing: The hairstylist has permission to photograph and use images of the client's hairstyle for marketing and promotional purposes, including social media and website display. Always post wedding day. The client has the right to decline or provide specific restrictions regarding the use of their images.

12. Force Majeure: The hairstylist/company shall not be held responsible for any delays or cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather conditions, accidents, illness, or any event beyond their control.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the UK. Any disputes arising from these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.

14. By availing bridal hair services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.

Destination weddings:

Travel Arrangements: The client will be responsible for arranging and booking all necessary travel accommodations, including flights, ground transportation, baggage costs and parking for the duration of the business trip. Unless expectations of booking myself are discussed prior to the trip.

Travel Authorization: All travel plans and expenses must be pre-approved by myself prior to booking.

Per Diem Allowance: A per diem allowance will be provided by the client to cover daily meals and incidentals. This allowance will be based on the destination and the company's established per diem rates. It is the responsibility of the traveler to manage expenses within the allocated per diem. Usually £100 per day unless discussed.

Ground Transportation: Transportation costs related to business activities, including airport transfers, local transportation, and any required travel for meetings or site visits, will be covered by the client.

Receipts and Expense Reports: All receipts for additional expenses incurred during the trip will be retained and submitted promptly upon return. Linked to work or essential travel only.

Day rate: A day rate will be charged for every day hair services are required.
